Easy Chili Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tbs Avocado Oil
  • 1 Finely Diced Large Onion Or two smaller onions
  • 1 lb Ground Turkey
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 4 cans Light Kidney Beans
  • cans Petite Diced Tomatoes
  • 3 tbs Livin By Design Chili Seasoning Link In Blog
  • 1 1/2 cups Beef Broth
  • 3 tsp Tapioca Flour You can use any Flour you like. I use Tapioca Flour because it is Gluten Free

Instructions

  • Heat 2 tablespoons of avocado oil over medium heat
  • Add finely diced onions to pan and cook for 1-2 mins
  • Add ground meat to pan and cook until no longer pink
  • Drain most of the fat off of the meat and return to pan. (I normally leave just a little of the fat in the pan. Drain don’t strain)
  • Add 3 tablespoons of my Chili Seasoning (recipe in blog) and stir into meat until it is evenly distributed
  • Add Petite Diced tomatoes with Juices and stir
  • Add Kidney Beans and 1 cup of Beef Broth to mixture, cover, and bring to a simmer
  • Combine 1/2 cup of Beef Broth and 3 teaspoons of Tapioca Flour together in a separate Bowl
  • Pour the Broth and Tapioca Mixture into the Chili and stir until they are mixed well
  • Let mixture simmer for 10-15 mins, stirring occasionally
